School Counseling
School Counselors at Wyoming High School specialize in academic advising and assisting with social/emotional concerns. Our services include individual appointments, academic intervention using multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), social emotional learning, grief counseling, career exploration, course scheduling, and 504 Plan case management.
College Counseling
College Counselors at Wyoming High School support and advise students and their families as they identify and apply for admission to their “best fit” colleges. This support includes individual counseling appointments and programming to address all aspects of the college application process: beginning the college search, financial aid, scholarships, essays, and the transition to college. WHS families are also provided with written resources and materials to facilitate the college search and selection process.
Testing
The Testing Coordinator at WHS oversees all standardized testing for students in grades 9-12. This includes: End-of-Course exams, PSAT, Practice ACT, 11th Grade State-Sponsored ACT, and Advanced Placement (AP) exams. The Testing Coordinator is responsible for test registration, requesting appropriate accommodations (if applicable), test administration, and disseminating test score results.
