WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
21 CREDITS
4.5 Credits of English (.5 Oral Comm)
Completion of 10th Grade Research Paper and 12th Grade I Search paper
4 Credits of Math
4 Credits of Social Studies
3 Credits of Science
Including one physical science and one biological science
.5 Credits of Physical Education (2 semesters .25 per class)
.5 Credit Health
4.5 Elective credits from among fine arts, business, computer science, world languages
AND
Earn a cumulative passing score of 18 points using seven end–of-course-state tests (six for the class of 2023 and beyond). Students must earn a minimum of 4 points in math, 4 points in English and 6 points across science and social studies. End-of-course exams are: algebra I and geometry, English II, biology, American history and American government. Students must also earn a “remediation-free” score on a nationally recognized college admission exam such as ACT or SAT. (See Student Handbook for more information).
Graduation requirements for Great Oaks Career and Technical students are listed in the course guide. Great Oaks students must successfully complete their career block program in order to receive a diploma based on the 21 credit requirement.
