February Highlight: WMS & WHS students explored Quebec

Bonhomme de Carnival

In February, forty-five (45) Wyoming Middle School and High School students explored Quebec. Historically, this trip has been for middle school students but high school students were given the opportunity this year after COVID displaced the previously scheduled trip.

In Quebec, our students enjoyed the Bonhomme de Carnival (and the carnival's mascot snowman), a fresco depicting the history of the city, and traditional French breakfasts. Additionally, they were given a tour of Huron Village, one of the First Nations communities of Quebec, by a member of the indigenous community, and participated in a reenactment of a pivotal battle from the Seven Years War on the Plains of Abraham in Quebec City.
