On Tuesday, April 18, join us at Wyoming High School for a community dinner and program:
6 p.m. CommUNITY Cookout with Superintendent Tim Weber
7 p.m. CommUNITY Conversation: The Power of Culture at WCS
Our culture is the heart of our school system. It makes Wyoming City Schools a special place to learn and work, and it gives us a unique advantage. Last summer, several staff members worked with Derek Avera from Focus 3 to produce the Wyoming City Schools Culture Blueprint. Culture is not a document that hangs on the wall but our Blueprint has provided us with a foundation for conversations and standards for how we behave toward each other and our community. Our culture at Wyoming City Schools aligns our staff members around a common set of beliefs and behaviors that ultimately determine how we prepare our students for the future. Derek will be facilitating our April CommUNITY Conversation. We can’t wait to include our students and our community more directly in the Wyoming City Schools Culture Blueprint!
All are invited to swing by for some food at 6 p.m. and learn about our Culture Blueprint at 7 p.m. including more information about:
-
How our Beliefs and Behaviors can drive incredible Outcomes as we work to foster the academic growth and personal development of every Wyoming student
-
How culture is determined by the way each of us manages our 20 Square Feet

This CommUNITY Conversation was originally scheduled for Thursday, April 20.
