Construction begins on Champions Center

Some members of the Champions Center Team break ground on the site of the future Wyoming Champions Center

Ground has been broken on the Wyoming Champions Center, a new indoor athletic facility on the Wyoming High School campus that will provide much needed year-round training space for nearly 350 student athletes each year! This privately-funded building, featuring a state-of-the-art fitness facility, indoor practice turf space, team meeting space and more, will be located behind the home stadium bleachers, between the current baseball and softball fields.
“We look forward to celebrating this space with all donors and community members when the facility opens, weather permitting, this August!” said Athletic Director Jan Wilking. “We are so excited about how this facility will support our 25 high school and 16 middle school athletic programs!”
All funds have been raised for the build but opportunities remain to make donations toward finishes and furnishings. To learn more about this game-changing project or to make a donation, visit:
“The Wyoming Champions Center will have an amazing and immediate impact!” said Superintendent Tim Weber. “Thank you so much to the Champions Center Committee, Wyoming School Foundation, Athletic Boosters, and all the donors for their partnership, generosity and hard work for our Wyoming students!”
