In case of inclement weather, Wyoming schools may call for a two-hour delay or a closure. Closure and delay information will be sent to family email addresses and phone numbers through the SchoolMessenger Notification System. Additionally, closure information will be posted on the homepage of the district website, the district Facebook page, the district Twitter account, and through local media. Staff members will also receive an email with closure information sent to their district email accounts.

When at all possible, delay and closure information will be shared the evening prior to any closure or delay but, due to the nature of extreme weather systems, that may not always be possible.
In the event that school is closed, high school athletic events will take place as scheduled if conditions permit at the time of the game. Athletic event cancellation information is sent to student athletes by coaches, shared through local media, and posted on the athletics page of the district website. In most cases, if school is closed, middle school athletic events are cancelled.
High school non-athletic events and clubs may take place after 2 p.m., if conditions allow. Information about club events will be communicated to students by activity advisers. In the event of a middle school closure, all non-athletic events and clubs are cancelled.
